Our Ruler Tool is designed to help you measure on the wheel to create consistent sets of pots, bowls, mugs, and more. Use the measuring side of the ruler to make subtle lines in your wall. Trim at the mark you’d like and then smooth away the lines with the opposite side of the ruler. Maybe you’ll leave the lines on for a bit of texture or use this at your bench to mark and cut while you’re hand-building. This tool is multifunctional and the possibilities are endless!

The Mudsponge White Finishing is made with a tight-cell material and is less absorbent than the Mudsponge Blue Workhorse. It is excellent for finishing work, final detail and clean-up of surfaces and won’t pull out grog or other materials in the clay body. Think of it like a chamois sponge. Natural sponges have been used for years. However, the quality of natural sponges can be unpredictable and there are some issues of environmental pressure on the little guys. Our sponges are made of an environmentally friendly material that is incredibly durable. Net wt. is .015 lbs.

Shaped like the traditional kidney rib, this synthetic sponge is the best tough and consistent sponge available to potters today. It is used to smooth and shape, not for soaking up water. 3-3/8" x 1-7/8". Net Wt. is 3.3 grams/.007 lbs.

The Mudsponge Orange Most Absorbent is the perfect throwing sponge. More absorbent than the Mudsponge White Finishing and the Mudsponge Blue Workhorse, it is the sponge Michael uses for throwing.
