Mayco translucent glazes were designed to have a hint of color with one coat and a deeper color with two to three coats. One coat will allow more of the clay body to show through the glaze. Subsequent coats deepen the color. Used alone, translucent stoneware glazes produce beautiful color variations, deepening with additional coats.
