With only one coat on a glazed background, Speckta-Clear provides a pleasing compliment or contrast of shiny specks reflecting light or a combination of colorful specks.

Stroke & Coat is one of the most versatile, easy to use and forgiving glazes for ceramic decorating. A one-coat application will create a translucent finish; a three-coat application will create an opaque finish. It is capable of being fired over a wide range of temperatures (it was design to fire to cone 06 but some colors perform well up to cone 10 temperatures!). Stroke & Coat fires to a gloss finish - clear glazing is not required (but a clear glaze will truly enhance the depth and richness of the color). While designed for bisque decorating, Stroke & Coat can be applied to greenware (as with any new glaze application please test Stroke & Coat's compatibility with your clay body before engaging in large scale decoration).
