The Studio Board 12x10" is the perfect ware board for any potter. Studio boards are to be used as a work surface and to assist when flipping work. They are not designed to be used for drying or wedging clay on. Because the boards are thin and made of wood, they cannot be left wet for too long or they could get soft or warp. Best practice for caring for the Studio Boards is to ensure they dry fully between uses, and that the clay is not overly moist. Studio Boards are measured in inches, and are 1/4" thick. The WA Board is a key component of our WA2 Wheel Attachment System. The WA Board is a Bat that is used to prep and manage slabs to use with the WA2. The groove in the bottom helps to locate Bat pins for an easy attachment. The smooth surface allows the maker to compress the slab or add texture with the help of the potters wheel. This adapter is designed to use 8.5" and 10" Hydrobats that are too small to fit on regular wheelhead bat pins that are spaced 10" apart. The adapter is made of a sturdy polyethelene plastic with drilled holes to fit on standard wheel heads with bat pins spaced 10" apart. Two bat pins are set in the top of the adapter spaced 6" apart, allowing 8.5" and 10" Hydrobats to fit snuggly onto the adapter. Smaller Hydrobats like the 8.5" and 10" are great for production potters making multiples of small cups and bowls. Net Wt. is 1 lb.

The 8.5" Hydrobat is perfect for production of small cups and bowls. The smaller size make them light weight and easy to store away when not in use. The rubber grommets are spaced 6" apart allowing Hydrobat to fit perfectly on a 10" to 6" adapter. All Hydrobats are made from hydrostone plaster to absorb moisture like regular pottery plaster but with extra strength to prevent chips and cracks for those of us with butterfingers.
