Powdered, heat setting, cone 10 mortar and patching compound. Not suitable for areas where there is not enough heat to bond the mortar. Primarily used for floors, arches, and walls. Flows nicely and cleans up with water. As with all mortars, any sulfates that come to the surface of a kiln wall after drying must be removed with a stiff brush. If these sulfates are not removed, they will form a glaze on the brick surface.
